I blatantly copied that from the internet, but it is accurate.

The 3+ hydractive hydraulic suspension has 3 automatic modes:

Motorway position (lowering by 15 mm of the vehicle height above 110 km/h)

Poor road surface position (raising by 13 mm of the vehicle height below 70 km/h)

Comfort or dynamic suspension (variation of suspension firmness)

The BHI of the 3+ hydractive suspension calculates the optimum vehicle height, using the following information:

Vehicle speed

Front and rear vehicle heights

Rotation speed of steering wheel

Angle of rake of steering wheel

Vehicle's longitudinal acceleration

Vehicle's lateral acceleration

Speed of suspension travel

Movement of the accelerator throttle

Do you have active anti-roll? I have a vague memory of one of the later hydraulic Citroens having it, but I can't remember which one.

I think so and very effective, rides like a cloud and stays planted when I need it to.

It's a shame, since they're much more interestingI cars than your average Fusion or Accord. It's just the French stuff that nobody else thinks about or even briefly considers that makes them awesome.

The funny thing is that it doesn't have the things you'd expect it to. A V6 engine, or Sat-nav, full leather seats or cameras. I does have parking spot size analyzer, turning lights and very sporty seats.

It's really a shame Citroën is not putting the Hydractive3 into more cars... Only the high_end C5 now. I think it would be the perfect setup if PSA really wants to eat some of the Germans marketshare with the DS brand.
